The 5, 2, 1, 0 League

We partner with community members to tackle childhood obesity by promoting healthy behaviors.

Through evidence-based engagement, education, collaboration, and policy change, we’re building a culture of healthy living in our community – and raising a healthier generation of kids. Healthy Together encourages kids and families to join the 5-2-1-0 League by following the 5-2-1-0 behaviors.

Our goal is to engage children and adults at the household level in specific positive 5-2-1-0 behavior change, which is then reinforced by school district wellness policies put forth by each district’s Coordinated School Health Advisory Committee and by school-level Wellness Committees and/or School Improvement Councils.

We also work with area early childhood development centers, including Head Start, that feed their “graduates” into Title I elementary schools that have higher levels of households represented who are struggling financially.
