Carolinas HealthCare System’s Levine Children’s hospital challenges 10,000 families across our community to take the 5210 pledge to be healthy together.
They performed a Healthy Together School Assembly at Sugar Creek Elementary School in Fort Mill, SC. The event was designed to educate the students and staff to live a healthy lifestyle by following the 5-2-1-0 program every day. Each class competed to see who could return the most pledges to show their commitment to leading a healthy lifestyle. The class with the most returned pledges won a recess bag filled with sporting equipment that can be used to encourage the one hour of physical activity.
